What is Risk Library?

Risk Library is essentially a centre of excellence for operational and physical risk related subjects.

It provides it’s members with a comprehensive set of internationally recognised Best Practice Standards which are used to identify, evaluate, treat and monitor physical risk exposures. The risk standards have been developed over a period of 20 years in conjunction with industry and incorporate Best Practice guidelines to the following physical risk disciplines:

- Risk Control Organisation and Administration
- Fire
- Security
- Emergency Planning
- Motor Vehicles
- Occupational Health and Safety System

How do I measure compliance to the Best Practice Standards?

In addition to providing your company with a set of comprehensive Best Practice Standards, the Risk Library also provides you with a self audit document. The document can be used to measure your organisation’s compliance to the standards and provides management with useful and concise feedback.

Where do I go for support?

In addition to the Best Practice Standards and the Self Audit document, membership entitles you to a Help Line. The help line provides you with access to a range of qualified consultants who have extensive experience in all of the risk disciplines contained in the standards.

Can I make an appointment to see a Risk Consultant?

Yes, consultations can be arranged. The consultation will provide you with an opportunity to address risk exposures that are material and specific to your business.

What about upgrades?

Unlike other IT products and services, there is no license or upgrade cost. The standards are updated on a regular basis and this is part of our service offering a long as you remain a member.
